Imran Khan or Imran Pal?

The young debutant Imran Khan has been too much in the news lately. Not just for his first film Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na but even for the fact that he is Aamir Khan’s nephew. Much has been spoken about his uncles Aamir and Mansoor Khan but practically nothing about his parents. When asked about his parents we got to know that his real name is Imran Pal.

The actor’s father’s name biological father’s name is Anil Pal. A Bengali by religion, he lives abroad and works in Yahoo. Anil Pal married Imran’s mother Nuzhat Khan but the couple later got divorced. Nuzhat then married Raj Zutshi and after two years got divorced again.

When quizzed why the actor retained his maternal surname he says that his mother raised him up all the way and that’s the reason why he prefers keeping her last name as well.
