Fox Star reproaches Rohan Sippy
The reason is Rohan in his excitement to learn the modus operandi of the drug mafia which is the theme of the movie set in Goa, went ahead and interacted with real drug peddlers, something that has not gone down well with Fox Star, the co-producers. Vijay Singh of Fox Star said they didn't want any more trouble after My Name Is Khan. MNIK was about taking an ideological stance but they would naturally be very cautious when it comes to something like this.
Rohan Sippy had brushed off the matter saying that there were two different point of views about the film's research, but everything has now been sorted out.
