Jul 04, 2009

Arshad Warsi ditches the unit of Padduram at the eleventh hour; unit stranded in Indore desperately looking for a replacement

Two days ago, Arshad Warsi was supposed to start shooting for a special appearance in Ajay Monga's film, Padduram, for three consecutive days. But just a day before the shoot, Arshad informed Ajay that he can't shoot for the film as he was busy with the promotion of his forthcoming film.

Informing us about the crisis on the sets of Padduram in Indore, our source said, "We have built a huge set for the film's climax. As Arshad opted out at the last minute, we have to look for a replacement. We are shooting with 4000 kids for the climax. We don't know what will happen now."

Arshad confirmed the story and said, "Ajay Monga had asked me to do a special appearance but I could not do it."

Director Ajay Monga said, "I am sure Arshad must have tried his best. We are now looking for a replacement. We had a special look for Arshad but his dates are blocked by his producer, who refuses to let him shoot for my film."
