Amar Shows It Off!
Amar is a British R&B singer of Indian origin with a sultry voice and semi-classical style of singing. With over 15 years experience in the music scene and working with a wide array of International & Crossover artists and producers including Timbaland (on `Shock Value I & II'), Talvin Singh (on `Anokha)', Khaled, and Nitin Sawhney (on `Outside'), Amar finally unleashes her long-awaited debut album aptly titled SHOW IT OFF.
Up from the Timbaland camp of powerhouse producers, Show It Off has been co-produced by Charlie Hype & JIM BEANZ who is one the hottest producer, songwriter and musician currently in the US (who has also worked with Britney Spears, Nelly Furtado, Craig David, Ashlee Simpson, Jamie Foxx and Jennifer Hudson), ‘Show It Off' is Amar's first full length pop album in Hindi.
In ‘Show it Off', Amar has sung to an exclusively fresh sound with a backdrop of urban R&B beats. Looking at Amar's extensive collaborations, Indian superstar music director trio Shankar, Loy & Ehsaan have worked with her in the track "Sajana" featuring in a striking video. Other star collaborations include "Bombay Billionaire" featuring India's top playback singer Sonu Niigaam & the track "See me Girl" has firebrand reggae star Apache Indian. ‘Masala' is a foot tapping score that features Amar & Jim Beanz in an exciting video in true international style. The title track features new American boy band Rebel that puts a young vibrant feel to the album.
Show it Off focuses on the confluence of Urban Pop and distinct Indian melodies sung by the exceptional Amar. With 17 brand new tracks and an eye-catching cover design the album has a great global vibe and that 'Desis' all over the world would love to shake-a-leg and hum about!
