Aamir and Ranbir in war of words

Aamir Khan and Ranbir Kapoor are set to fight it out with each other although verbally. They will share the same platform for a summit organised by Tehelka on Bollywood and other social phenomena (money, religion, cricket and sexual politics) to be held on Saturday, November 21.

Ranbir who is shooting in Bangkok for Siddharth Anand's Anjana Anjani is flying to Delhi for just a few hours to attend the summit and return the very same evening. Ranbir said that when he was asked to share his opinions and views on the Indian film industry along with Javedsaab and Aamir, his first thought was: why him? Apparently, Ranbir was chosen above other actors of his generation for his passionate interest in cinema. The seemingly natural choice would have been mama-bhanja Aamir and Imran Khan. But according to sources, Ranbir's knowledge of cinema, popularity among audiences of all ages and his confident connect with crowds clinched the deal in his favour.

Ranbir added with enthusiasm that he isn't preparing notes for the evening. He thinks he'll keep it extempore. He'd be lying if said he wasn't nervous. He exclaimed that Aamir and Javedsaab are stalwarts in front of him!
