When you don't have the right body to flaunt, take the help of extras. We are talking about Anushka Sharma's figure. The girl is in great trouble. She's got two projects in hand with two requirements. She needs to be slim and fit in Parmeet Sethi's YRF flick while her body needs to look fuller in Nikhil Advan's
Patiala House. So what did the damsel do? Simple...she acquired bum bags! Ahem...!!!
A source said that Anushka is blessed with a thin figure, but had to look fit for Parmeet Sethi's film. She is opposite Shahid Kapoor and is playing a glamourous role, so she had to be well-toned. She worked out regularly to stay slim. Anushka is playing a typical North Indian girl who is required to look fuller, unlike the size zero girls in today's films. In parts of the film, she will be dressed in Punjabi outfits like patiala salwars and short kurtis. When she wore the ethnic dresses, she was looking way too skinny. Punjabi girls are heavier on the lower body, especially the hips. Since Anushka nowhere resembled a Punjabi girl in that aspect, designer Jaimal Odedra decided to attach bum pads inside her salwars to make her derriere look heavier. Poor Anushka...guess slim is not in for her!
However when quizzed about the bum bags, Jaimal denied suggesting them. He said that the film is about a Punjabi family based in London. Anushka plays a modern Punjabi girl. Anushka is well-toned and does not require them. Ya ...well! We hope it gives the required effect!
