Raveena Tandon, also known as the mast- mast girl of Indian cinema is a National Film Award winning actress, producer, and former model. During the 90’s, she was a popular star and was part of several commercial successes such as Mohra (1994), Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi (1996), Ziddi (1997) and Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan (1998).

Known primarily as a mainstream actress, recently she has done more realistic and serious cinema which has won her critical acclaim. She had an infamous affair with Akshay Kumar in the late 90’s which garnered her lot of negative publicity and left her career in tatters. But she bounced back with Ziddi and won the National Film Award.

She gave up acting briefly when she gave birth to her daughter. Her last performance was in Sandwich (2006).
